01

Overview

This policy describes how Miles collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Miles, including the iOS and Android mobile apps and related support services.

Effective date: April 20, 2026.

02

Profile Data

Miles uses phone-based sign-in and account profiles. We may process your phone number, authentication session details, display name, profile photo, and account metadata needed to operate your account securely.

03

Trip Context

Miles may process destinations, dates, origin, travelers, pace, interests, selected plans, bookings, reservations, expenses, checklist items, and related trip lifecycle details.

This trip context is used to organize travel information, personalize recommendations, and keep the app useful before departure, during the trip, and after the trip ends.

04

Memories, Photos, and Recaps

If you choose to save memories, upload profile photos, or attach booking confirmations and travel images, Miles may store those files and related metadata so they can be shown in the app and linked to the correct trip.

Miles may also use saved trip context, memories, and photos to generate recap and assistant experiences inside the product.

05

Notifications and Device Data

If you enable notifications, Miles may process push notification tokens, device locale, timezone, app version, and notification preference settings so it can deliver the updates you request.

Miles may also process limited technical and operational data needed for security, reliability, debugging, and service performance.

06

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate accounts, save trips, personalize planning, manage memberships, deliver notifications, support assistance and recap features, and operate the core product.

We may also use information to prevent abuse, enforce our terms, resolve support issues, comply with legal obligations, and improve product quality.

07

Sharing and Service Providers

Miles may rely on service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, customer support, purchases, and related infrastructure.

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect users, or protect the app and its systems.

08

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the platform.

When you delete your account, Miles is designed to remove your account data and uploaded files, although some records may be retained when required for legitimate legal, tax, billing, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

09

Choices and Contact

You can turn notifications off in device settings, avoid optional features such as uploads, and delete your account from within the app.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related assistance under applicable law.
